New School BJJ Brixton Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Refund and Cancellation Policy Agreement

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes, seminars, and related activities offered by New School BJJ Brixton. I understand the nature of these activities and the risks involved, including the risk of personal injury.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in these activities, I agree to the following terms and conditions:

Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk

I hereby release and hold harmless New School BJJ Brixton, its instructors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of my participation in the Club's activities. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in these activities.

Physical Condition and Medical Treatment

I represent that I am in good physical condition and have no medical condition that would prevent me from safely participating in the Club's activities. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to participating in the activities offered by the Club. In case of a medical emergency, I authorize New School BJJ Brixton to obtain necessary medical treatment for me, and I agree to be responsible for any related costs.

Refund, Cancellation and rejoin Policy

£20 Trial Membership:
Upon completing the £20 trial, you will automatically be enrolled in a recurring monthly membership at £70 per month. Should you choose to cancel, you must do so before the end of the trial period to avoid the membership charge. No refunds will be issued for any payments processed after the trial period ends, including any charges for uncanceled memberships.

Regular Memberships:
Regular memberships can be canceled at any time. Refunds will not be provided for partially used months. Cancellations must be submitted before the start of the next billing cycle to avoid charges for the following month.

Kids Membership Program:
If your child is part of the Kids intro membership program, they are enrolled in the full 4-month initiative. If the membership is canceled before the end of the 4-month period, you will be charged £150 for the remainder of the agreed program.

Freezing Memberships:
Memberships that are frozen will incur a charge of £25 per month until the membership is canceled.

Rejoin Fee: 
If you choose to leave instead of freezing but want to rejoin down the line there is a fee of £75. 

Class attendance and levels: 
There are classes which are exclusive depending on level. This is to ensure you get the most out of your training and are in the correct class according to your level of experience. Advanced classes should only be attended by those with a coloured belt. White belts can only attend if they have been specially invited. Mixed levels can be attended by coloured belts and white belts with at least 1 stripe. All white belts with out a stripe should be in the beginners classes as assigned on schedule. 

Photography and Video Release

I grant permission to New School BJJ Brixton to use photographs or videos taken of me during Club activities for promotional purposes, without compensation or further notice.

Governing Law

This waiver and release of liability, assumption of risk, and refund and cancellation policy agreement shall be governed by the laws of the UK.
